After a brief break, we are back this week with some great vintage timepieces for you! We have seven fresh watches for you in the HODINKEE Shop, all here to meet your varying horological needs. Whether you’re into cool tool watches from brands like Enicar or classic Rolex watches like the Datejust, we have a varied selection that will surely pique your interest.

1967 Tudor Submariner Ref. 7928

The Tudor Submariner was first introduced in 1954 as the brand’s first diving watch. The example we have here is the reference 7928, which was introduced just a few years later in 1959. This watch is dated to 1967 and has a matte dial with gorgeous patina – it also comes with a Rolex box with original Tudor hangtag. You can read more about this watch here

1970s Certina DC-2 Automatic

This Certina DS-2 with blue dial from the 1970s features a bold look and a robust case. While Certina has an unusual history (the manufacture changed names several times in the early 20th century), this watch is one of the more iconic models produced by the brand. Powered by the caliber 25-651M, this tool watch will have you looking sharp in no time. You can read more about this watch here.

A Patek Philippe Ref. 3970EP

It’s not often that we list watches from 2002, but we had to make an exception for this 3970EP. The 3970 is the last transitional reference between vintage and modern Patek Philippe. The perpetual calendar chronograph is known for its beautiful case shape and gorgeous dial layout. The platinum example we have here is a third series 3970 with papers, and it is absolutely stunning on the wrist. You can read more about this incredible piece here
