On Tuesday night, HODINKEE and Montblanc welcomed 100 guests to car collector Bruce Meyer’s private garage (at a clandestine location in Beverley Hills) to celebrate the new TimeWalker collection of racing-inspired watched. Of course there were plenty of watches on hand – both TimeWalker models and other pieces from Montblanc’s portfolio – but there were also more than a dozen world-class automobiles for guests to admire.
After allowing everyone to settle in with a cocktail and get a look around the incredible hidden garage, Montblanc Vice President of Marketing and Communications Florent Dubiez welcomed guests and offered an introduction to this year’s reimagined TimeWalker collection. He then passed the microphone to Mr. Bruce Meyer himself, who gave guest a virtual tour through twentieth century automotive history, telling the stories of the incredible cars filling the space, which spaned the 1920s to the 1980s, including no fewer than five (yes, five) Le Mans winners.
Thank you to everyone who came out to show your support and to both Montblanc and Bruce Meyer for being incredible hosts. We hope to see everyone at future HODINKEE events soon.
